Organized by the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Malaysia Affiliate and supported by CPHI Southeast Asia, ISPE MALAYSIA HACKATHON 2025 had brought together the brightest young minds under the ISPE Emerging Leader & Student Members network to tackle real-world pharmaceutical challenges with creativity and passion.

We are proud to share the incredible achievement of our students from the Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Pharmaceutical) with Honours (BTF), Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), who participated in the first-ever ISPE Malaysia Hackathon, held on 17–18 July 2025 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur!

A total of thirteen UMPSA students joined this prestigious event, collaborating with peers from various institutions across Malaysia. Their innovative spirit and teamwork paid off, bringing home 1st and 2nd place in this exciting competition!

Even more exciting, the 1st place winning team will be heading to Singapore for the upcoming ISPE Hackathon on 27–28 August 2025. We can’t wait to see them showcase their talents on an international stage!
