On 22nd June 2023, a group of Bioprocess Technology (BTK3823) and Food Engineering Technology (BTK3843) students from Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, UMP had the opportunity to visit the Yakult Factory in Oakland Industrial Park, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The purpose of this industrial visit was to provide students with practical insights into the production processes and technologies employed by Yakult, the best probiotic drink in Malaysia.

 

The industrial visit to Yakult was highly informative and enriching for the students. It provided them with a practical understanding of the technology employed in the production of probiotics drink. The visit offered valuable insights into the various stages, quality control measures, and standards upheld to deliver a high-quality product to consumers.
