Research in FTKKP is funded either internally (i.e., Universiti Malaysia Pahang) or externally, both at national and international levels. Similar to the other universities in Malaysia, applications for grant or funding at FTKKP in UMPSA is managed and administered by Department of Research & Innovation of UMPSA which has the same role as the Research Management Centre at other Malaysia public universities. To date, the faculty has received funding worth more than RM10 millions in the quest of new knowledge, particularly in the areas of Catalysis, Membrane applications, Advanced Materials and Bioprocessing.
