13 October 2021— An international webinar on “The Value of Waste: Nanocellulose as A Future Material Building Block” was organized by Advanced Materials Research Cluster (AMReC), FTKKP. The invited speaker is IR Dr. Athanasia Amanda Septevani, Senior Researcher at Research Centre for Chemistry, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. The focus of this webinar is on the potential of biomass as a cellulose resource, synthesis routes, optimization and applications of nanocellulose materials. In addition, among the points being shared are research activities done in BRIN, and potential collaboration on research especially in nanocellulose field. Future collaboration between AMReC with BRIN in the near future able to boost the working relationship between both parties.
