On 11 November 2024, the Chemical Process Simulation: Virtual Experiments training session was successfully conducted at Blok W, UMPSA Gambang Campus. Organized by the Process System Engineering and Safety Research Group (ProSES), the session attracted 145 participants, including staff and students from the BKC, BTK, BTO, and BVF programmes.

 

The training was led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Ruwaida Binti Abdul Rasid and Dr. Aainaa Izyan Binti Nafsun, both experts with over 10 years of experience in using Aspen Plus software. The training focused on real-world applications through case studies, showcasing powerful tools and techniques in Aspen Plus for chemical process modeling and simulations. Participants appreciated the hands-on approach and gained practical insights that will enhance their understanding and use of the software.

 

This training marks a significant step toward strengthening skills in process simulation.
