On 16 August 2023, Reaction Intensification and Sustainable Energy (RISE) research cluster in FTKKP organized a research collaboration visit to Malaysia Palm Oil Berhad (MPOB). Led by Dr. Mazni Ismail, the primary goal for the visit is to foster knowledge exchange, establishing research partnerships, and exploring avenues for joint research initiatives in the palm oil industry. The visit was warmly welcomed by the MPOB Engineering & Processing Division Team, led by the Director Dr. Astimar Abdul Aziz.

MPOB is a prominent player in the palm oil industry, known for its dedication to sustainable practices and research in palm oil cultivation. This collaboration aimed to leverage MPOB's expertise and resources to address the challenges faced by the palm oil industry and contribute to its long-term sustainability. The visit successfully laid the foundation for collaborative research partnerships between the two organization.
