NARP 4.0 COLLABORATION PROGRAM UMPSA X PTSS UNIKL: STRENGTHENING ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

30 October - The ISPE UMPSA Student Chapter, in collaboration with PTSS UniKL, successfully conducted the NARP 4.0 Collaboration Program, involving students and academic staff from the Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Pharmaceutical), Faculty of Chemical & Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).

The three-day programme was designed to strengthen academic collaboration, foster student leadership skills and encourage active community engagement through meaningful outreach initiatives.

A series of Community Social Responsibility (CSR) activities were carried out at three locations:

1) Tadika Tunas Pintar — early childhood learning activities, interactive games and motivational sessions

2) Pantai Lagenda — beach clean-up and environmental awareness campaign

3) Rumah Kanak-Kanak Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom (RKKSHK) — motivational activities, character-building programmes and welfare support for the children

The Principal of Tadika Tunas Pintar expressed gratitude for the visit and shared:

“This programme is a commendable initiative by both universities. Not only does it bring joy and inspiration to the children, it also reflects the importance of nurturing volunteerism among university students.”

Meanwhile, the Principal of RKKSHK extended sincere appreciation and added:

“It is not easy to conduct a programme that involves two universities simultaneously, especially when it requires coming here and spending meaningful time with the children. We truly appreciate this commitment.”

She further hoped that:

“Programmes like this will raise greater awareness among the public on the importance of offering emotional support, attention and care to the children here.”

The programme successfully fulfilled its objectives in cultivating empathy, social responsibility and leadership among students, while reinforcing university-community engagement.

The organising committee extends its appreciation to all partners, supporting staff and participants for their contribution in making this programme a success.
