Big Congratulations to all the exceptional students who have successfully completed their Process and Plant Design 2 Final Presentation!

The final presentation for Process and Plant Design 2 (PD2) was held on 14 June 2023, which involved 145 final year students from the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering program (BKC), Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, UMP.

A total of 38 academic panels and 12 industrial panels from BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn. Bhd., Kaneka (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Lynas Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., and Petro Sep Engineering Sdn. Bhd. diligently assessed the final presentations.

After a year-long process and plant design project, each student group was evaluated based on their technical, engineering, and product knowledge in areas such as process flow, equipment design, process control, PID, HAZOP, waste management, and economic feasibility. The presentation skills, personality, and communication abilities demonstrated by the students were also recognized.
