Recently, Dr Rajaletchumy Veloo Kutty and Miss Tanesha Thanaseelan has successfully secured lab2market grant from UMP with amount of RM91,773.79 for Herbal scalp care product. This project has won gold medal during 32^nd International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition 2020 (ITEX’20) which was held virtually.

Accordingly, this grant aims to produce 500-unit products in order to complete the market study as well as clinical evaluation to further confirms its effectiveness. As a result this product is expected can be successfully commercialized in the near future. Herbal scalp care will be a novel formulation using medicinal plant extract as an anti-dandruff agent that helps to overcomes scalp problems.
