The Process System Engineering and Safety (ProSES) Research Group, Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, in collaboration with AspenTech, successfully organized the inaugural UMPSA-AspenTech Chemical Process Simulation Challenge 2024.
Congratulations to the winning team for their outstanding project, 'Production of 80,000 MTPA of P-Xylene from Toluene and Methanol.' Their innovative approach earned them an exciting prize: complimentary AspenTech EAP101 public virtual training sessions and one-month access to AspenTech's eLearning platform.
We extend our gratitude to all participants who demonstrated remarkable creativity and expertise in chemical process simulation.
The challenge is set to return in 2025, and we eagerly anticipate more groundbreaking solutions and enthusiastic participation.
Once again, congratulations to the winners!
